In a big world full of vast opportunities, I often questioned myself on whether or not the path I had laid down for myself was the right one to take. From an early age, I always dreamed about becoming a professional soccer player. I would do everything and anything in my power to make that dream become a reality. Which included giving up the majority of my free time in order to progress as an athlete. At this point in my life, music was just another hobby I used to distract myself from the adversities I faced on a day to day basis. It allowed me to escape my reality and really focus on the emotional connection that soccer left me without. It wasn't until after high school, and quitting college soccer that I realized without music I wouldn't be where I was. I had a new dream. 

       

       Growing up, I always had a fascination with every aspect of the music industry. Artists such as Daft Punk, Deadmau5, Justice and Mac Miller provided me with the foundation to build my dream. From the artwork, to the continuity of subject matter and emotion that can be instilled within someone else through art. I knew what I wanted to become. I wanted to become that individual who could create connections with another person for them to share and to help flourish their own dreams.

       I guess that takes us to today. I am writing to express my gratitude towards music and the influence it has had on my life. Creating my own music has opened a new door that I did not think would ever open. It allows me to express myself in a way that I can be comfortable with and proud of. With dedication comes hard work, and through all the ups and downs, I can comfortably say that creating music has become a passion of mine and something I will continue to do for the rest of my life.
